White Water round cowl vents/dorades are stamped out of high quality Marine Grade 304 Stainless Steel. The interior of the vents are powder-coated and painted with marine grade corrosion resistant paint in either classic red or white. The exterior of the cowl vents are buffed to a high-gloss polished Stainless Steel finish. Deck plate diameters are available in either 3" or 4" diameters; recommended size depends on your compartment requirements for air circulation and/or ABYC and Coast Guard Regulations. We recommend installation of these cowl vents via our Stainless Steel deck plates to a dorade box to catch moisture or the deck plates may be installed directly to your boat deck. Cowl Vents are a great accessory or hardware for classic or traditional sailboats and vintage boat styles
