- Finely pearled gilded bronze lunette
- Gilded bronze group depicting three winged cherubs moving among clouds, holding a floral garland
- Truncated cone case resting on an inlaid base with geometric patterns
- Elegant wood veneer: satinwood, amaranth, rosewood, and green-stained maple
- Clockmaker: Original movement signed by Paul Garnier (1801–1869), royal and naval clockmaker
- Garnier excelled in precision escapements and scientific regulators, trained in the grand Parisian horological tradition
- Original, unmodified movement runs but requires minor servicing for optimal performance
