It features a top border of an authentic red, black and white design that includes New Zealand's national bird the Kiwi, surrounded by the Niho-Taniwha pattern (dragon's teeth) and the Baskets of Knowledge. The cloak is made from 100% cotton and adorned with traditional karure or tassels. The side is held together with a comfortable band of elastic.
